I can’t believe that summer is almost over! And we all know what that means…back to school! I don’t know about you, but I kind of (okay really) love the process of getting geared up for the new school year. I always love to get organized + get Truman ready for the year. He will be going to pre-school and he is SO excited! He absolutely loves school and loves the school environment, so I am super excited to see how he grows and blossoms this year.

Our cute Tatum will be starting “mother’s day out” two times a week starting in November and she can barely contain her excitement. She gets so sad when we drop Truman off and begs me to stay. She is quite the social butterfly and loves to learn, so I am so happy she gets to start this year (although I am already sad about her leaving me, even just for two days a week!) 

The first thing I always do for the new school year is head to Pottery Barn Kids and order a matching backpack and lunchbox! I absolutely LOVE the pattern and color options that Pottery Barn Kids has to offer. If you have been following me since Truman started Mother’s Day Out a few years back, then you know he has had a PBkids backpack every year since then. We are major fans and I love the cute monogram detail that they offer. I let him choose his backpack this year and of course he went with sharks! Tatum opted for a gold kitty and she’s in love and is already stuffing all of her toys in it and taking it everywhere we go, haha.
