Guess what… I’m pregnant!!!

It’s true, we’re expecting baby #3 and we couldn’t feel more excited & blessed. My two sweet kiddos are my whole entire world and I can not wait to meet this new little one! I am currently 12 weeks and am finally starting to feel better. This has definitely been my hardest first trimester out of my three pregnancies. Many of you might have noticed I was a little more quiet than normal. Honestly, it was rough. With Truman, I wasn’t sick at all and with Tatum I was here and there. During the last few months we have been BUSY with travel and house stuff and of course chasing after two little people, so that took any energy I had. I finally started feeling better around week 10.

I’m so happy to finally feel like that “fog” has lifted! I am back to my normal self and feel so thankful for that.

My cycles are very regular, so we figured out about this sweet surprise very early and the sickness started really early, as well. We told our families right away + have told our close friends along the way. Truman is SO excited!! He can’t wait for another baby to play with and he already talks and kisses my tummy talking to the baby. He is such a wonderful big brother! Tatum does not get it at all, haha but she LOVES babies so I think she will be excited! Sid of course loves our babies and is seriously an amazing + hands on dad & is SO stoked to add another little one to our family. I absolutely love being a mom and feel so much pride and joy raising my children. I already love this little baby of ours SO much!!!

We feel so thankful to have a sweet boy and girl already, that we have planned since having Tatum, on not finding out the gender of our future babies. Everyone thinks we are crazy to wait. But we would truly love & be ecstatic about either gender this time around! We get asked very often what we “feel” like the baby is and we honestly never think too much about it so can’t give an answer. I think because we have had our minds set on being surprised for so long, we are just hoping and praying for a healthy baby. We have a room for the baby. But will just wait until he/she is born to decorate a nursery. We want to take this time with just us four to spend lots of time together + enjoy settling into our new home!

I don’t quite have a “bump” yet, but my tummy is definitely starting to poke out a bit! I loved my bump during my previous pregnancies and can’t wait to dress it this time around.. Although I do love to live in a good pair of leggings during pregnancy, lol!

As far as eating goes, I haven’t had any crazy cravings (except for baked potatoes always sound good! My MIL made me some last Sunday for dinner and it was heaven!). Nothing really sounds terrible to me, either. I recently got my appetite back. Thank goodness! And the past few weeks have gotten back to our normal, healthy eating at home. I just eat small meals throughout the day and find that helps settle my stomach by not feeling overly full or letting my stomach feel empty.

I’ve found that crockpot meals work well for dinners for me because I don’t have to sit there and cook meat and what not. I’ve been super thirsty and have been drinking tons & tons of water! I love cereal, oatmeal, cottage cheese, or a piece of fruit before the gym in the morning and those are things I have been able to eat just fine the last few months 🙂

Anyways, we are so thrilled to be able to share this news with you! We are HAVING A BABY and our hearts are so happy and full. Thank you for following along our journey and I hope you’ll continue to follow along! Love you all!! XOXO

P.S. Funny story about these photos… We took these pretty early in the morning and of course the night before the kids both had trouble sleeping. So we were all pretty tired and the kids were definitely not in picture taking mood. We probably got a handful of shots and I knew they had had it so we just said we would see what we got and hope for the best. Well, when we were walking back to the car Sid noticed a guy blowing these huge ginormous bubbles! Of course the kids perked right up and ran to see them. The guy was so sweet and kept blowing bubbles so we could grab a few more shots!

Our kids were in HEAVEN!! They were giggling and laughing and seriously just having the time of their life running after the bubbles and trying to pop them. I love how they turned out and think they show Tru & Tate’s little personalities off perfectly! Note to self to always bring bubbles to family photos 😉 and shout out to our sweet photographer Corbin for capturing these special photos for us. We will cherish them forever & ever!
