We’re MOVING!

We are so excited to share some very big news with ya’ll… WE’RE MOVING! And not just a little move… our 3rd cross country move in 4 years, haha. But it is sooo worth it and we are so thankful and feel so blessed to say we are finally moving HOME. Most of you guys may know or have suspected that Texas or Michigan have never felt like “home” to us. We first moved to Michigan because Sid landed an amazing job/internship right out of college where he would have the chance to prove himself that year and be offered an amazing position at his company. Well, he knocked it out of the park and was offered a position in his company in several different places around the country, but none of them home. We prayed and prayed and ultimately decided we wanted to move to Houston, TX. We have absolutely loved it here. We loved our beautiful home that we completely renovated on our own with the help of some family (it is SO special to us), we love our sweet friends we made here (one that I will forever be grateful that came into my life), the people, the city, and so much more. However, as our family has grown, there has been a continued longing to be close to our loved ones. The monthly trips (because I can’t stay away from family) were becoming overwhelmingly exhausting.  We are so excited to tell you all that we are moving to… UTAH! You guys might remember us visiting Utah over the summer- well, we were busy while there scouting areas and lots deciding where we want to build. Why Utah?? Well, we love Utah! It is where Sid is from and is where we met and fell in love. Both of our families live there (besides my parents who are suuuper close in Las Vegas, but do also have a residence in Utah). And the best part about it is that Sid will be keeping his same job but will travel back to Houston when needed for work. We will be building a home in Utah and will be living with my family in Las Vegas for the first part of the build and will move up to Utah with Sid’s family during the final building phases. We are going to be patient with the process and just try our very best (I promise) to enjoy it all. We know building is quite the process, so things probably won’t always go as planned, but that’s okay. We are just so thankful to have this time with our families… I don’t think there’s ever been a 25 year old mom more excited to live with her mama haha. We will miss Houston immensely and the friends we have made here. I feel like I’ve spent 3 of the best years of my life so far here… learning how to be a mommy, welcoming our second child here, growing closer than ever to my husband, being completely and utterly dependent on one another living so far from family, and growing into myself as a woman. I will forever cherish the time we spent here and the memories we made here. We will be moving at the end of October and can’t wait to share this whole process with you all. Thank you for your continued support always, it means the world! XOXO
