Life Lately

This week has been a crazy one.. in the best way!! Truman started school on Monday and has been a total rockstar about it. He’s so excited to learn lots + of course make new friends! He’s such a good kid and we are absolutely loving this stage with him. He also goes to soccer on Thursdays and he did so so good this week! We love watching him and it’s pretty hilarious watching a bunch of 4 year olds run around playing each other, haha!

Tatum is our sweet and sassy little girl who just goes with the flow and is loving some one-on-one time with mama a few times a week. She’s getting so big and smart and is just as sweet as can be! Also, she started gymnastics again this week and I could die at how cute she looked in her little leo! She loves being outside and taking trips to the park. She is our little sunshine girl who makes us all smile! Oh, and she LOVES to sing. We bought her a little frozen microphone last week and she is o.b.s.e.s.s.e.d.

My little sister had her sweet baby girl Wednesday! She went into labor early Wednesday morning and I spent most of the day there. I left for a few hours for a girls night with my best friend, Ally, to go to the Sam Smith concert! She bought us tickets back in December for my birthday and the concert was unreal!!! He is so, so talented. If you have the chance to see him in concert, DO IT! We left the concert a little early and I rushed back to the hospital and made it just in time for her to start pushing. It was an amazing night and my heart could burst watching Cass become a mommy. Baby girl is healthy and perfect and so very loved. So thankful to add another beautiful niece into our lives!

Thursday we had some house stuff to finalize and then took our kids to meet baby girl for the first time. Truman kept on saying, “mom I can’t believe baby Luna is actually here, I thought she’d never come!” Tate was obsessed with the “baby” and I just know they will be the best of friends one day.

Our anniversary is next week and Sid surprised me and told me last weekend that we are going to Cancun this weekend! We leave Saturday morning and we can’t wait for some alone time. We haven’t been to the beach just us two since our honeymoon lol so it’s safe to say we can’t wait for a little bit of relaxation!! (I’m not sure I even know how to lay out anymore since I am usually swimming, chasing, changing, feeding, applying suncreen (you get the picture 😉 ) with the kids. We will only be gone for 4 days, so we’ll be back to the babes in no time. We are stoked!

Weeks like these are definitely busy and exhausting, but I can’t help but feel so dang thankful. My heart is full. Thank you all for being here + letting me share these fun pieces of our life with you. Definitely follow along this weekend! I’m soooo excited for this getaway with my man! Love you all! Xoxo

I’m back today with another Adidas Originals look from Nordstrom! I wanted to keep this one casual, but cute. These joggers are so good , babes!! They are fitted and skinny at the ankle, which makes them so flattering and cute. I love them with a basic adidas sweatshirt or it’s cute to dress up a bit with a tee + leather jacket! I love how chic and put together I feel in this outfit, yet I also feel like I’m wearing pjs, ha! These sneakers are great for workouts, joggers, and even with jeans and a tee.
