Hello, darlings! I am so incredibly happy to finally share Porter’s nursery here on the blog! Because we didn’t know his gender until the moment he was born, I didn’t plan or do anything to this room beforehand. There is something so special and sweet about our sweet Porter. He is calm and loving and so dang sweet. He has seriously changed our lives in the best way. Since having him, I have been slowing things down a lot and just enjoying these precious moments with my sweet kiddos. He gives me a sense of calmness and just fills my heart with so much peace.

Baby Porter

I wanted his room to reflect him & I think it totally does. I had a LOT of help picking things out for his room from my sweet mama. She stayed with me for the first week that Porter was born and one night while I was sleepily nursing my sweet new baby boy, she helped me create an inspo board and we went to town ordering his bedding and furniture. I was sooo excited to decorate a baby boy nursery. We fell in love with this mobile and really designed the room around it. We kept everything clean and neutral with that classic baby blue.

Bedding

His bedding is from Restoration Hardware Baby and I love the beautiful texture of the fabric (the chandelier is from there, as well, and made for the perfect finishing touch). This crib has an amazing natural element and I love the details on it. We decided on the paint color “Revere Pewter” by Benjamin Moore. This was the color most of our home in Texas was painted and it’s one of my favorite interior paint colors. I think it suits the room perfectly and will easily transition to a big boy room later on, as well. Also, I just love this peaceful space in our home. I cherish the time I get rocking and feeding him in the rocking chair and I love watching him start to roll around on his cozy rug. He is truly heaven on earth for me and I am so thankful he is ours!
