Mascara Combo
Hello, beauties! SO happy you’re here 🙂 Since removing my lash extensions a few months ago, I have gotten lots of inquiries about which mascara I have been using! I also wanted to share that I have been using this lash serum since removing my lashes and it’s really helped to strengthen and lengthen my lashes. I use it 3-4 times a week at night. You have to be consistent to see the results for sure. I am excited to see how my lashes look in a few months. (quick tip- I also use it on my brows and have seen the most difference on my brows for sure). I am loving the natural lash look and the low maintenance is a nice bonus, too! I love this drugstore, affordable mascara. It is amazing on its own or with a primer. I use the shade blackest black and I really love it. It’s not clumpy and lengthens lashes like a charm. I actually really, really love this mascara but it is pricier and I think this drugstore option is just as good. It is $10.99 & right now you can buy 1 & get 1 for 50% off. I always love to grab a couple to have on hand.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I also really love this mascara. I honestly don’t know which one I like best because they are both so great. I feel like I have a lot of control when applying this mascara which is super nice. It makes my lashes super long ( especially when I use the primer below). It is $9.99, so a great deal as well.
L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Primer
If you want extra long, luscious lashes then use this primer. Also a fabulous drugstore option! I like it under either of the mascaras when I want my lashes to really make a statement.
My Mascara Combo Routine
Honestly my mascara combo is veryyyy simple and straight forward. As a busy mama, I just stick to the basics and rely on good products to achieve my everyday makeup look. See how I combine these products below!
Clean Lashes
I always start with fresh, clean lashes. I use these makeup wipes at night, followed by washing my face with this TULA cleanser (use DESTINY20 for a discount!) The wipes are hydrating, so they don’t dry out your skin. They do a great first sweep at washing off make-up.
Prime Those Lashes
I use my lash primer to prep my lashes when I am wanting a little more of a dramatic lash look – I personally don’t use it every day but like it when I want something a little extra! It really does add volume and length to mine and think it’s an easy + quick step that makes a major difference.
Choose Your Mascara
I use either the L’Oréal or the Maybelline mascara-not both. I really do like them both!! I think the L’oreal mascara gives me a little more volume which is always nice 🙂
