Organization is alllll the BIG hype right now and I’m all about it! Good organization not only helps you stay efficient, but helps reduce stress and gives such a peaceful and productive feeling and literally helps the days go so much smoother. Ya’ll loved our post with The Container Store a couple months ago when we shared our kids’ playroom closet (see post here + also how we organize our fridge here), so we teamed up again to share some pantry organization inspo! With spring right around the corner + a new baby on its way in the next few weeks, we have been organizing and I guess you could say “nesting” like crazy. I really wanted to buckle down and get the pantry super organized.
I feel like when every item has a place, it’s easier to keep clean.
Also, I like things to be easily accessible to my family, kiddos included! When the pantry is organized, we always know what we have or need to restock. We did lots of open shelving in our pantry (our cabinets were built custom by Deco Design Furniture). I wanted space to store not only food and every day essentials, but a place to store some of my beautiful serveware (as seen towards the back of the pantry + on the very top shelves). We used these baskets in both sizes (small and large) to organize almost everything and love how it looks + how easy it is to keep everything in place.
This large expand-a-shelf is perfect for storing cans, jars, tins, and what not. We do have a cold storage room in our basement where we keep a lot of our excess food + food storage. When we shop in bulk, we also store extras downstairs to replenish in the pantry, when needed. I love that this shelf easily showcases what we have on stock. We use this large lazy susan with divided sections to store some of our quick and easy treats and eats. The Montauk Open-Front Bins match the baskets I used throughout the pantry and are perfect for storing items you want to see and have easy access to. I store our pb, honey, syrups, etc in one and oils, vinegars, cooking sprays, etc in another. They keep things looking clean and tidy and keep the everyday products you use easily accessible.
If you’re looking for somewhere to start with organizing, under the sink is a great spot!
We ordered this Under Sink Organization Kit and used it between both under our kitchen and pantry sink. This is a great option + it’s currently on sale (woohoo!). My husband and I both LOVE a good organizational system and this one is my absolute favorite.
This ProKeeper Baker’s Storage Set of 6 is awesome and keeps all the baking goods fresh! I love the clear containers to see how much of everything I have, too. We used these glass canisters in the 1 & 2 gal sizes to store some of our favorite treats.
In our “treat drawers” we store all the kiddos’ easy-to-grab treats, bread, and some of the easy snacks I throw into lunches.
We store our medicine in the pantry, as well and used the same baskets to separate and store those. We use these containers to store our pre-workouts, products, etc (Sid and I each have our own).
Spring is the perfect time to overhaul your kitchen or pantry area + The Container Store is currently having a great sale on kitchen and pantry essentials! I will link all of the items we used to organize our space below. Definitely check out their sale + let me know if you have any questions! Make sure to tag me if you decide to do any spring cleaning with me 🙂 Thanks for reading! XO
