Playroom Closet Details
We are so excited to be sharing the kids’ favorite spot in the house… their playroom closet!
We haven’t finished designing this space yet, but I could NOT wait to share the finished organization system! They spend hours every day playing in this space and it has become one of my favorite areas, too. We were SO ecstatic to be able to work with The Container Store on this closet + they were an absolute dream to work with. When designing this area, we really wanted to create a space that was functional, easy to use, and that was organized. We went with their ELFA system (currently 30% off!) and customized it with The Container Store to fit our space + our needs.
We wanted lots of lower drawers for easy access for toys, shelves to add baskets and bins to, and a hanging rod for dress up clothes. Also, we really love this closet because of how big it is! We designed the closet for our family to be able to grow into. Definitely, we want more kids, so the extra space will be so nice as kids get older. Also, we add more littles to the family. 🙂
Truman and Tatum love being able to go in and find exactly what they are wanting to play with. In addition, I love that everything is organized and it’s easy to put away since everything has a spot (you guys know I LOVE an organized space). We’re teaching the kids to pull things out one at a time and they are learning to put their toys back where they go! We keep most of their toys in this area, along with books, puzzles, coloring books, craft supplies, etc.
This system has exceeded our expectations!
