Protein Shake Must Haves
It’s a new year, time for a new you – let’s get healthy! While I am not currently working on a six pack (hello 6 month baby bump, haha!), I am all for making healthy goals and changes in the new year. I have really been focusing on my family’s health and nutrition the last few months. We have set some really great goals when it comes to our health. Also, we have been eating at home SO much more and only eat out maybe once a week now. We really enjoy cooking and eating at home together and I have had so much fun playing with new foods and recipes. BUT this protein shake has been my go-to for years!! It is simple, filling, and so delicious. It totally curbs my sweet tooth and I love that it is filled with good, clean ingredients. I grabbed all of the ingredients from Walmart (so convenient that I can get it all there!) Here’s the recipe:
PB, Banana, Chocolate Protein Shake
1 Orgain chocolate protein shake (I also use the powder form sometimes or the vanilla flavor when I am not feeling chocolate anymore) These shakes have 20g of protein, are gluten free, and are only 140 calories!
1 Banana (sometimes I use a frozen banana)
lots of ice
I love to drink this after workouts! While being pregnant, I definitely take my nutrition seriously. I love to eat clean foods that are healthy and nutritious for both me & the baby!
