There’s been so much fun going on around here and lots of change, so I wanted to share a little life update!
We are moving to Utah next week!
It feels so surreal.
I am soo excited to get into our own space (although it is a veryyy tiny space, haha! We got a really cute 2 bedroom apartment so it’ll be interesting figuring out how to get the kids to share a room. Any tips would be appreciated!!!) We are excited to be with our family and friends there & get settled.
We are also excited to be just a few minutes from the home we’re building. So we will definitely be over there checking on the house daily 🙂 It won’t be done until around August for those wondering, so it will be a bit. I am soaking up all the fun with my parents. It has been so. much. fun. My babies have had the best time and I will cherish the last few months that we had forever and I know my kids will too.
Truman is hilarious as ever.
He has the best personality and keeps us laughing all day long. He’s also sooo dang smart. He will miss his class and teacher here in Vegas, but we have a tour set up for a pre-school in Utah so we are hoping he loves it just as much! I was almost tempted to just forget about school the rest of the year, but when he heard he wouldn’t be going to school anymore he got so upset! He LOVES it so much! Some other things he loves is going to the park, getting treats at the gas station, popcorn and movie dates, & working on his letters and numbers! He gets so proud to show off all of his knowledge. He is my little lovable smarty pants.
Tatum is as sweet as can be.
Girlfriend is such a good baby! & She’ll be 11 months old next week, which is completely blowing my mind and making me super emotional. She’s so happy, lovey, and full of life! She sleeps like a champ. Lately she’s been going to bed around 6:30 & wakes up at 7… yup, she’s a dream! She says mama, dada, hi, bye, and uh oh. She can stand on her own and is also sooo close to walking, but still a little afraid. Her gorgeous dark hair is getting sooo long & I’ve already decided she’s never, ever allowed to dye it 😉
Sid is busy, busy, busy with work.
He LOVES his job and loves to work. He does travel for work. Which is worth it because he’s amazing at what he does and loves it. He’s super excited for the home build. Most of the time we like to climb in bed early and scroll through Pinterest looking at home inspo! It’s definitely an exciting time in our lives and I am thankful for such a great husband who lifts me and loves me no matter what.
We’re lucky to have him.
We love days where we can just go hang out as a family. To enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve been having in Vegas is amazing. We especially love our casual days! We ordered Sid these jeans from Nordstrom a bit ago & he seriously wears them all the time! This sweatshirt is also from Nordstrom & comes in lots of great colors for a great price. It’s perfect for fun family days & for transitioning into spring!
Life Lately For Destiny
I am busy, busy being a mama to 2 little people. They are getting busier by the day, but I love it. We have so much fun every day. It is tiring and hard, but definitely worth it. I am learning to relax a little more and focus on enjoying all of the small moments.
My babies really are my everything!!
I am also always trying to fit in a little work here and there 😉 (but mostly after my kids go to bed!) I am hoping to get back on a really good schedule when we get settled in Utah. I’ve been having fun planning Tatum’s first birthday party and am so excited to celebrate my little angel! We also have a few trips here & there coming up soon that I’m excited about. It is definitely going to be a fun next few months over here!
I am off to a retreat today that I am speaking at this weekend, so that will be lots of fun & a nice little break before the craziness of the move next week! I hope you all have a great weekend~ TGIF, babes! XOXO
