6 Things I Tidy Up/Get Ready Before Going to Bed
I always, always, always load up the dishwasher + start it. I don’t leave anything out so we can always wake up to clean dishes to use throughout the day! We cook most of our meals at home so I am always prepping meals and snacks for our family.
Once the dishes are loaded/put away, I wipe down counters and clean out the sink.
I take out trash and recycling.
Run the vacuum or sweep up any messes.
Make Truman’s lunch for school and get his school bag packed.
I always set out my kids’ clothes the night before. It helps getting ready an easier process with one less thing to think about in the mornings!
I love doing these simple things to wake up to a fresh and clean space. My mood is so much better when our home is clean and tidy and it’s the best way to start the day. Mornings are also usually more chaotic around here, so doing these simple steps helps keep things organized!
