5 Things That Make Me Happy

You all already know I am alllll about focusing on the positive things in life. Especially when a week or day seems a little sour, I try and focus on the good. I like to think about 5 things I’m thankful for or 5 things that make me happy. I find that turns my day right around + helps me to remember all that is positive and good in my life. We all have so much to be thankful for, we just have to outweigh the bad with the good.

Here are some of the things that are bringing me happiness this week!

1. My babies’ laughs, smiles, hugs, kisses, & snuggles
2. When my husband comes home from a work trip. He always brings me a cute card, hand written letter, or something small to let me know he’s missed us + appreciates me being home with the kids. I love that about him. He always tries to make me feel loved and appreciated.
3. A good book. I just finished one I will be chatting about here soon + just picked up Behind Closed Doors. There’s nothing more relaxing to me than curling up with a good read!
4. Nap time, haha! Totally being serious. I love when my kids get to take a little rest + I get a little alone time to do whatever I want/need to do for that hour. It gives me that much needed break from the busy morning and helps me to be that energetic + happy mama that my kids deserve.
5. Doing something that fulfills me spiritually. Whether it’s reading my scriptures, praying, serving someone else, or even through listening to uplifting music… doing something that strengthens your spirit will always bring happiness and joy!
