Hi babes, happy Friday! We have been in Las Vegas for the past 12 days and tomorrow will be heading to Newport Beach, California for a week! I’ve had the BEST time in my hometown. I’ve been able to hang out and spend quality time with my family, swim every single day, play with Truman lots, work out (oh hey free babysitters!), and even got to go to Red Rock Canyon early one morning for a hike and to see those beautiful red mountains that I’ve missed so much. The weather has seriously been gorgeous in Vegas this week, perfect hiking weather. If you haven’t been to Red Rock.. it’s a must. It’s just stunning. I feel so lucky that my parents live just under 10 minutes away from such an amazing place. I also love that so many tourists come from around the world to check out the stunning views. I always get asked about some kid/family friendly things to do in Vegas, and guys, this is definitely one of them! There were so many families with their children hiking and it was so fun to see how excited they were. There are many different fun trails and hikes to do and they range from easy to hard, depending on what you’re looking for. I went with a girlfriend and left Tru home and it was so nice to take some time alone to really relax and enjoy myself, BUT I can’t wait to take Tru with me next time! I know he will think it’s the coolest thing.

Now onto the perfect hiking outfit… I wanted to keep my legs covered and safe, so I went with my Nike high waisted leggings (similar here) that I love so much. I just got them from Nordstrom last week and I am seriously hooked and I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the high waisted band is on them. Talk about comfortable (wow) and gives you that extra bit of tummy control that all of us seek. I paired it with this sports bra (obsessed & bought this too) and love the black leggings paired with a pop of blue! Now as for the shoes.. I haven’t wanted to take these shoes off. They are Nike Juvenates and seriously hands down the comfiest Nikes I own! It’s like walking on clouds. Not kidding. I can’t wait to grab this pair next..aaaand every other color in this style. As a lot of you probably notice, Nordstrom is my jam. It’s a one stop shop for me. I am always able to find the cutest and newest workout gear and I am especially obsessed with their Nike selection! I love all of my Nike gear because it fits into my lifestyle perfectly for working out, running, and simply living. Hurry and check all of these items out because they are running out fast!
