You may have noticed on my insta stories that we are in Vegas for the week! We weren’t really planning on coming until the weekend, but we saw how amazing the weather was and decided to take full advantage. We have basically lived in the pool the last few days! (Obviously can’t share much of that while my hands are full with two littles in the pool). It’s been so nice to kind of relax with the kids and Sid after the craziness of last weekend. Plus, we always have so much fun with my parents! My baby sister has her bridal shower + bachelorette party this weekend, so I can’t wait to celebrate her! It’s definitely going to be a lot of fun 🙂

Truman and Tatum always love getting to visit Nana & Papa’s house. I love that because we still live quite a bit away from both Sid’s parents and mine, it feels so fun and special when the kids get to see them! They adore their grandparents. Sid and I are partners in everything we do. Sid is an amazing + hands on dad! He and I rely on each other for everything and aren’t the best at asking for help outside of each other. I think we’ve just always just been us two, so we make it work just us two and I am proud of that. Our kids are always with us and we love that!

Truman is hilarious, you guys.

He cracks us up with his funny sayings. He’s very expressive about his love, just like his dad & I. He tells me how much he loves me every day and I can’t help but feel SO proud of that. His dad is proud of his personality.. He always says if Truman has a good sense of humor, he’s got all he needs in life. His favorite things to do as of late are: gas station runs for treats (we take him on Friday’s after we pick him up from school), swimming, and playing at the park. OH, & he has to tell everyone about his “eagles nest” (aka his new room in the house! It’s a big room tucked in the corner of the house with lots of windows that overlook the mountains and he is soo excited about it).

Tatum is getting SO big all of a sudden!

She says “hiiiii” all day long. She’ll blow the cutest kisses. She got her first big bump under her eye this week. It happened because she walked into a wall while trying to put on one of my hats. Girlfriend loves accessories, lol. She is both a mama’s + daddy’s girl. She LOVES the park… like can spend hours running around in the grass! She’s a good eater. Plus, her favs lately are avocados & fruit! She is going back to mommy & me gymnastics this week. I am excited for that one on one time with her. We are excited for summer with them and are starting to work on our family bucket list! Do you guys do summer bucket lists with your family?

Sid and I are both busy, busy, busy.

We feel like we literally have not stopped the last month! I am thankful for the amazing relationship that we have and that we are both so happy to support one another & help each other however we can. We butt heads, but also have so much fun with the house designs. It’s been a LOT of work making decisions, going to meetings, checking on things, scheduling, etc. A lot more than I think we thought it would be. We are both so busy with our jobs as well, that this time just seems a little crazy. We are definitely excited to see the progress each week! This week our roof will be finished and our fireplaces are going in!! It’s coming together slowly, but surely. It’s been so amazing to see all of our hard work, saving, and planning come together.
