Hey beauties! It’s officially summertime! Truman is out of school & we are off to our summer family vacation. I showed a peek at the kids’ suitcase earlier this week and received a lot of DM’s about traveling + organization must haves with kids. So, I shared this list in my last newsletter, but thought it would be great to have here for ya’ll to be able to reference back to! I’m all about being organized while traveling- it makes everything SO much easier + less stressful. Let’s get to it!
Best Travel Stroller
We love this stroller! It’s light & folds up easily. Also, It is so comfy for the kids for on-the-go naps. Furthermore, I love this stroller for runs during vacation! Actually, we had this stroller in the single version and loved it so much. So, we bought the double when Tatum was born.
Car Seat Travel Bags
There is nothing worse than dragging a car seat with your hands full of kiddos, a stroller, bags, and carseats through an airport. As a result, I found these car seat bags that keep your carseats clean and safe. Also, It can double as a backpack so it’s easy to carry! Honestly, We really like them!
Diaper Bag For Traveling
We love this diaper bag for traveling. It’s so lightweight! Also, It holds everything we need for both kiddos. In addition, the material wipes clean super easy which is great for traveling. I always wipe down and clean my bags after traveling through an airport.
Tablets + Cases For Kiddos
We aren’t huge on letting our kids use tablets. However, when we are traveling these are a lifesaver! So, I let my kids play games or watch movies on these on flights to help keep them entertained.
Both of my kids have these cases on their tablets. They’re also lightweight + can easily fit in their mini backpacks.
These are the headphones Tatum uses. Truman has some super cool Ninja Turtle ones from Target 😉
Packing Cubes
We love these packing cubes for keeping organized when traveling! We used to use ziplocks and that worked for the kid’s clothes, but we upgraded to these and love them. My kids share one pack of them- For example, both of them are packed up for a beach trip in one set and in one suitcase. These fit everything we need: swimsuits + outfits + pj’s for 7 days!
Activities For The Kiddos

Hand Sanitizer
We’re hand sanitizer obsessed in our home lol. Honestly, We really like this one! (We also love the Honest one). In addition, we keep a bottle in my purse, diaper bag, car.. basically everywhere. So, this kind is great because you can spray in on little hands easily and it doesn’t feel wet or sticky. Also, this one is organic, made with essential oils, and smells like lavender!
Anyways, these are just some of my must haves while traveling with my two kids. Now that they aren’t in the “baby” stage, we have to bring a lot less which is SO nice. Please let me know if you have any questions about these products at all~ happy summer, friends! XO
This is so timely for me, destiny! I am going on vacation with my husband’s family in July and will be flying with my 14-month-old for the first time. cue the anxiety. she doesn’t have a long attention span and i’m curious which of the games/activities you find really appeal to tatum, since she’s around the same age as my little girl.
