My Favorite High Waisted Amazon Swimsuits
‘Tis the season for swimmies! If you know me, you know I love summer. Give me all the pool days, flip flops, sunscreen smell, I’m talking alllll of it. I love it. And after growing up in Las Vegas and being a self-proclaimed fashion junkie, I’ve owned my fair share of swimwear. The high waisted swimsuit is something that, as a mom, I’ve come to really appreciate so I thought I’d round up my absolute favorite Amazon suits in the high waisted category.
Why high waisted? Well aside from a one piece, these are so mom-friendly.
I need something that is going to stay in place and make me feel confident all day and I love high waisted swimsuits for that reason. I think that they look so flattering on so many body types and if you’re one that doesn’t love showing your belly button but wants to wear a two-piece suit, this is the perfect option for you.
When it comes to shopping on Amazon, though, things can be a little trickier to find the perfect fit. Shopping online, in general, for swimsuits is tricky but with the seemingly millions of Amazon sellers and all of their individual sizing and images, wow it can really be confusing! First things first, I set the customer rating to the highest 5 star ratings as I’m filtering through the product. Customer reviews are immensely helpful when online shopping and sometimes customers will even share images of themselves in the swimsuit and that is so helpful for those of us shopping at home! I also make sure they’re Amazon Prime because who has time for anything else? Haha.
After that, I’m all about scanning the pages for swimwear that is on trend in either cut, pattern, or color way. I love a pop of neon, the paisley pattern that is so on trend right now, cute ruffle or scallop details, etc. Anything that can make a basic suit just a little more elevated is a win in my book.
My last tip is to order a few more swimsuits than you think you need and here’s why; odds are, they’re not all going to work.
With the price points being as amazing as they are on amazon, sometimes that means that quality can slip a little bit in manufacturing. If I know I need two swimsuits for a beach vacation, I’ll probably order 4 or 5 and return whatever doesn’t work. That’s another amazing thing about Amazon, they make returns easy.
