Happy Friday, babes! We have had the BEST week with Sid’s family here in Utah. We’ve loved the pretty snow, eating at our fav spots, watching the cousins play, and so much more. We also found an apartment that we’ll be moving into at the end of January so that we can be closer as the house gets started! So it’s been a very fun + productive week. And can you believe it’s Christmas weekend?! I seriously can not wait for all of the fun festivities to continue.

New Years is also right around the corner, so I wanted to share what I’ll be wearing!! Since we are wanting to spend the night with family, we will still dress up and head out for a fun dinner 🙂 I have loved Modcloth since high school. They have some gorgeous + unique items! I love browsing their site when shopping for a party or event.

Choosing The Perfect Party Outfit

I really love to go to Modcloth because of all the options. They seriously have everything you need! Dresses, blouses, shoes, accessories, jackets, etc. They have it all! They also carry some awesome brands. For example, this dress is by Adrianna Papell, which is one of my favorite dress brands! I love that they always make putting looks together SO easy. The first thing I saw was this page, where they shared tons of gorgeous outfit pairings for every New Years occasion! I was drawn to this dress because it’s a classic. It can be worn for sooo many different events. Weddings, church, dinner, etc. I have a thing for collecting dresses, but this one is definitely a new favorite.

Below I am going to share some of my favorite dresses from Modcloth. Each can be worn for New Years! Add a pretty faux fur coat or leather jacket for some added warmth & you’re good to go. When I think of New Years, the more sparkle, the better. So, don’t be afraid to make a STATEMENT & wear something you will feel confident + a little extra special in!

Every look needs accessories to be complete. Heels, bags, & jewelry are key. You can dress up the simplest of black dresses with a pretty shoe! For this look, I chose to keep with the metallic theme. I love this pretty bag and I am obsessed with all things stars lately. I love mixing metallics and think this bag paired perfectly. Also, I would’ve loved to throw on these earrings! I love the idea of sleek hair with a statement earring. I also love a more nude lip color for New Years, because you know I’ll be smooching my man at midnight! Add a pretty, smokey eye for a little extra glam.
