Hi friends! I get soo many emails about what we eat and snack on, sooo I thought I’d start with our FAVORITE healthy(er) ranch dip! Tru, Sid, & I looove us some veggies and we are also huge snackers so we make this all the time, especially on the weekends. I first tried a ranch dip like this at a family party and immediately went searching for a recipe to recreate it. I found this recipe and have changed it up to make it exactly how we like it. We drop the milk and add a little bit more greek yogurt. We also don’t blend ours because we really love the texture of cottage cheese. We pair it with all kinds of fresh veggies, but our favorites are cucumbers, carrots, peppers, and celery! You can also pair it with whole wheat crackers. This snack is healthy, filling, and we all love it (also toddler approved!!). Definitely try it and let me know what you think! XO
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup 1% or 0% Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp dried dill
- 1 1/2 tbs green onion, minced
- 1 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
- a pinch of salt and black pepper, to taste
OR if we’re in a hurry (like we were this day) we love to use the Hidden Valley Greek Yogurt Dips Mix and just mix it in with the cottage cheese and greek yogurt! SO good!
