Habits Of Successful Women
Recently I have been focusing on habits that I implement into my own life & have also been exploring new ways that I can create everyday habits that will help me live the best version of my life. Here’s a few of my thoughts + things I have found that have been shared over & over. I get it, we hear these same things all the time. BUT, do we actually practice them? We want easy answers, but success is anything but easy. We have to work for it.
- She makes time for herself. Self care is so important babes! I get it, we are all busy. BUT take that little bit of extra time for yourself.
- She educates herself. Yes- I already have my degree, I am educated, but the learning never stops for me. I LOVE to read + love podcasts that make me think + teach me something. Strive to be the smartest version of yourself- knowledge is truly power.
- She knows healthy doesn’t always mean going to the gym- it’s about taking care of your mind, body, & spirit.
- Keep a list or journal of your accomplishments & goals. Also make a list of things you want to be doing less of each day.
- She is financially savvy. She knows where her money goes and where to spend it for greatest benefit. Do you budget? We definitely believe in a good budget and honestly have been pretty strict about it since we were first married 7 years ago. Now, the budgeting is a habit and something we really enjoy and get excited about.
- She helps others. Having a big heart & serving others brings so much joy. Do it with the best intent and don’t expect anything in return.
- Visualize your success, but also remember to celebrate the wins, no matter how big or small.
- They have a great morning routine. SO many of the successful people I look up to have shared their morning routines and how important they are to them to do every single morning. Find what works for YOU. Whether you want to meditate, work out, have a quiet breakfast, come up with a routine that sets your day up for success. I know I feel out of whack and not on my A game when I wake up to my littles. I like to start my day before they are awake and get in some of the things that are important to me, so that I can be the best best version of myself for them.

Pick 2 or 3 small habits that you would like to implement into your life this month. Maybe it’s taking more time for self care. Maybe it’s being a little smarter financially and not going out to eat this week. Or, maybe you want to serve others more and think less about you. Whatever it is that you want to work on, write it down, practice it, say it to yourself, and DO it! Watch your personal growth happen & become that badass, successful woman you want to be! This just in…I love my basics. Oh wait, you already knew that 😉 My go to style is definitely chic basics. Honestly, I like to keep my looks simple, while still looking put together. I’m a big fan of Nordstrom’s selection of Adidas Originals pieces and I have loved giving the pieces a little twist and not wearing them in the typical athleisure way (although you’ll still catch me wearing them for my workouts or athleisure days). I love the look of this tee. The color is so pretty and I love how it looks a little dressed up, too! Pair it with sleek black jeans for a date night or with leggings and a sneaker for the perfect errand look.

Truly enjoyed these tips!! my favorite is having a Great morning routine. That is seRiously the way to a successful day. & alSo, MakIng a list of things that yOu woukd Like to accomPlish the next day and checking those items off before dOing things that dOnt matter. Then treat yourSelf somehow when youre HALFWAY through the List and again if/when you accomplish them all!
I WANT TO START EATING BETTER, SINCE IVE WORKED OUT EVERY DAY THIS WEEK.. NEXT IS JUST STAYING AWAY FROM SNACKS SO MUCH. sECOND WOULD BE TO FIND TIME TO RELAX. THIRD IS TO READ SOME MORE OF MY NEW BOOK.
