The holidays are here and I couldn’t be more excited! We are usually gone visiting family for the holidays, so I love starting my decorating early so that we can enjoy it a little longer. Today, I’m teaming up with Nordstrom to show you how we get our home holiday ready! Now that we have a toddler, we love including him in the whole process. He seriously had the best time sipping hot chocolate (& loading on the marshmallows!), listening to some holiday music, and putting up the decor with his daddy and I. I love small accents of holiday decor that won’t take over the whole house (I keep it pretty simple), but I fell in love with some amazing staple pieces from Nordstrom that I can use for years to come! I used this banner paired with this garland for the perfect decor on our fireplace. I love the classic pops of red! That’s another reason I fell IN LOVE with this amazing pom throw (and because it’s just GORG!) Decorating our house is always the first thing on our list for getting into the holiday spirit. Below I am sharing our family’s winter bucket list! I love these ideas and making a bucket list because it always helps us to get in the holiday spirit and really make the most of these special times! What are some ways your family gets into the holiday spirit?! Thanks so much for reading, loves! XO
Thompson Family Winter Bucket List:
Decorate the Christmas tree, watch Elf & The Grinch, have a hot chocolate date, make a gingerbread house, do a service project, see the Christmas lights, holiday pajama party & breakfast for dinner, snuggling under blankets (on repeat), kiss my husband under the mistletoe 😉 , getaway at a cabin, Zoo lights, make cookies, take neighbors and friends gifts, and set goals for the new year!
Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Okay, that bucket list is SO GOOD. I am totally copying it!!! And let’s do Zoo Lights together!! Cannot wait to hear about your cabin adventure. xo
Love the decor in your home! It’s so simple yet lovely!! Happy Holidays!
xoxo
