First Trimester Must-Haves

First Trimester Must-Haves

Hello, my sweet friends! Omg, we are feeling all the love since sharing our exciting news that we are expecting baby number four!  I couldn’t be more excited, we have been waiting for this sweet little babe to come and join our family. I am a month past the first trimester (hallelujah!) & I wanted to share some of my favorite things during the first few months of this pregnancy. I will start by saying that every pregnancy is very different. SO, what works for me might not work for someone else. Just sharing my favorite things! I thought I’d share a quick list of items that I’ve really appreciated throughout my first trimester.  Many of these are repeat products from all of my pregnancies but some of the product recommendations have changed.  I hope you love them!

First Trimester Must-Haves

1. GIMME ALL THE H2O!!!

I’ve tried so many of these and they go with me absolutely everywhere.  I love the cute cotton candy colors in this one, it just reminds me about the excitement behind finding out the gender of our sweet babe and is a great reminder to stay hydrated. I have been trying my best to keep super hydrated & having a cute cup that keeps my water cold definitely helps. This one is VERY cute!

2. Prenatal that does not  make me sick!

This is the real MVP on this list.  Pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy, it is so important to make sure that you’re body has plentiful reserves of the vital nutrients needed to support a pregnancy.  I love Ritual because there are no additives, everything inside the capsules is clearly labeled, free of harmful chemicals, and it’s a delayed release so that it won’t leave you feeling queasy. (Use code DT10 for 10% off at checkout)

3. As soon as I find out I’m pregnant, I start lathering up my belly/body.

I found this oil and love it. It’s super moisturizing + has no chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors or perfumes. A little goes a long way, but I mostly focus on apply to belly, sides, booty and chest.

4. My bed time routine is basically like a spa night for me, haha.

Mama is easily happy with a quick 10 minute routine these days. Pregnancy exhaustion is real + add in taking care of 3 other kiddos & work and I am ready to pass out my 9 pm every night. I apply this lip mask always before bed + never sleep without my favorite blanket. I like to create an ultra comfortable vibe for bed time and it’s helped a ton with my sleep etc. You guys have heard of the ever-popular Barefoot Dreams blankets made popular by the Kardashians, well we have a few and we just love them.  But I found a dupe and I’m just as in love!  These blankets are some of the softest we own and let me tell you, a good blanket makes a difference when you just aren’t feeling great.

5. IYKYK about these leggings.

I can’t quit them – they are definitely my favorite pregnant or not. I can save money on tops but these are definitely worth the price. The Lulu aligns are the absolute perfect pair for staying comfy all day when you’re in those pre/in between growing a bump stages.  Great for working out and great for resting!

6. These were a life saver for me during a couple of those really hard sick weeks.

Morning sickness does not just come in the morning, does it?  Ugh.  On days when I’m feeling a little extra queasy, it’s so nice to have something to help ease that nausea.  These Preggie Pop Drops are awesome to be able to bring on the go and to have to suck on (with my ice water) and the sour flavor helps so so much.  Bonus that they’re better for my health and teeth than other sour candies like jolly ranchers or lemon heads.
