How are your New Year’s resolutions going? Having a New Year’s Resolution of getting active is a staple for many of us, but it’s not always easy when you have a busy lifestyle, kids to care for, work to do, etc. Going to the gym or to that coveted spin class, while it is a desire, sometimes being able to actually make it can be stressful. Since beginning to workout years ago, I’ve come across some amazing at-home workout options that make me feel amazing, energized, and stronger.
Favorite At Home Fitness Programs
OBE Fitness
OBE Fitness is amazing because it provides workouts on demand. They also provide a large variety of classes for different workouts. It is the perfect way to make a workout work for you and your schedule. They have Dance, HIIT, Yoga, Stretch, and Strength. These classes are just a few of many.
They also provide classes for every age group. Have littles still at home? They have a kids class! One of my favorite things is teaching healthy habits to my kiddos and working out with them is so fun (and definitely more challenging, haha). You can get your Obe glow with just a few classes a week and you just have to show up! No perfect gym outfit is needed.
High Fitness Online
High Fit has become a staple in my routine because of how quickly I feel like the classes go by. I’m too busy having fun to feel the pain! Having High Fit online has been a huge blessing for me. On the days I can’t get to the gym it’s super easy to just get logged in and pick a class to bust out in my quick 30-minute window.
Aerobics is back! They have a unique way of mixing cardio, toning, and plyometrics that really push you to get stronger. It’s an action-packed workout that is extremely adaptable for beginners up to pros.
Kayla Itsines
Who remembers BBG?! Kayla Itsine’s Bikini Body Guide was my go-to years ago when Truman was born and her empire has grown to involve so many more workouts and apps that make getting your pre-baby body back even easier. Her new 28 minute workouts are packaged for women that are trying to gain strength and confidence. It’s a high-intensity program so it’s really meant to help you build and shred at the same time.
The best part about her program is that it’s not boring. She creates circuits and pushes you to work out for the entire 7-minute interval, which isn’t always easy. You’re definitely going to sweat and push yourself in ways you haven’t before.
Peloton
I absolutely love the Peloton app. The best part is, you don’t have to own one of their machines to use it. They offer a wide variety of different classes that give you an amazing workout. They have everything from boot camps and pilates to core programs and meditations.
The Peloton community is extremely motivational and they have been a huge game-changer in the way that I work out. The classes fit your mood and your goals. The music is amazing and the instructors are knowledgeable. Whatever your style is, they most likely have a workout and an instructor to fit your needs.
I hope that you are able to get that workout in, Mama. You deserve to have a healthy, happy body to take care of those littles. At-home workouts have quickly become one of my favorites. I love that I can do as much as or little as I need and on my own schedule.
