As most of you have seen, we most recently took a fun trip to Las Vegas! I received SO many emails and messages about tips for traveling with kiddos, so I wanted to share what worked for me. I am in no way a pro at traveling with two yet ( I mean, I’ve been a mom of two for like 2 seconds, haha 😉 ), but honestly the flight was a complete breeze. I do have two babies- two and under (one being just a month old), so it’s safe to say that I was a bit (A LOT) nervous to make this flight alone. Truman has been taking monthly flights since he was born, so he is always pretty easy and used to flying. He actually LOVES to travel and is always so excited to get to fly on the “errrplane”. We decided to book the flights for an early morning, hoping both babies would go back to sleep on the plane.
I made sure to only bring what was completely necessary, as well. I packed my babies’ bags and tried to keep super organized. I separated everything into categories (pj’s, onesies + socks, shoes, outfits, etc) and put them into labeled ziplock bags. This also helped me keep organized while getting two kids dressed each day. This was SO helpful and actually helped us to not overpack. Because of this, we were able to pack everything into our checked bags and we did not carry anything on, besides my diaper bag.
Traveling equipment:
We have a carseat for Truman at my parent’s house, so I never worry about that when traveling to see them. We did, however, have to bring Tatum’s carseat. I wanted to have the least amount of “stuff” with us once inside the airport, so I checked Tatum’s carseat. Because of that, Tatum was not able to ride in the stroller (we have to use her carseat with adapters until she is old enough to ride in the seat). I actually was totally fine with this because I LOVE to baby wear. I wore her the whole time in my Solly Baby Wrap, which made it a breeze and I could have two hands to help Truman with whatever he needed. I also love to have her close to me and I find that this helps keep strangers from trying to touch or get too close to her. ALSO, just a reminder that you are not allowed to wear the baby for take off or landing, so once I get on the plane, I get everything organized and upwrap her and swaddle her instead. Once the plane lands, I wrap her back up in my Solly wrap.
Onto my stroller… If you have followed me for a while, then I’m sure you have seen me use the City Mini stroller with Truman. That stroller was definitely my go-to travel stroller because of how lightweight it is and how easily it folds up. It is SO durable. I decided I needed that one in the double stroller and I am sooo happy I went with it. It is SO lightweight. It folds up so easily, which is a must for traveling. I also was able to do a lot of walks/jogs while in Vegas and it’s amazing for that, as well! I also use it everday for my walks here and it’s so great. I would definitely recommend it for a great all around stroller, but especially for traveling!
I absolutely have to share about where I ordered the stroller from! The Baby Cubby is not just “another baby store”. What makes them different? While deciding about which stroller we should get, the Cubby team was SO helpful and willing to answer any questions that I had. The Baby Cubby is “for every parent out there who has ever felt overwhelmed or discouraged about becoming a parent.” The Baby Cubby team is made up of parents who have been there, they know what it’s like, and they are passionate about encouraging, inspiring, and reminding parents how amazing they are and how important their role is. The way they do that is by finding the best and safest baby gear and providing it to parents in a fun shopping experience where they do things like test strollers on their stroller track, price match everyday – even amazon, offer free shipping nationwide at BabyCubby.com and actively engage with parents via social media and our cubby community blog to discuss some of those hard topics of parenting.
You can read a little bit more about what they’re passionate about and why they do what they do on their “about us” page here – http://www.babycubby.com/

cool!
I love how organized you are which makes it so much easier to be stress free and enjoy the trips! And that stroller is heaven sent. Fastest and easiest fold up ever!!
Your car seat is also able to be mounted on your stroller?
Yes! I just have adapters for that. It’s safest for a newborn to be kept in the car seat when they’re that little ❤️
This dress with the sandals…SO good!!! I want one in every color haha
I love your entire outfit and Tatum’s carseat cover is adorable!!
