COZY CHIC Winter Items | Truly Destiny by Destiny Thompson

We’re back in Houston and I don’t think I’ve ever been happier about our warmer winter weather than I am after spending a snowy, toooo cold 12 days in Utah! Truman literally started stripping down as soon as we got in the car and was so happy to not have to wear alll the layers! Since I don’t have to wear a jacket most days, I love getting my winter look by accessorizing with items like scarfs and booties to dress for the season. I found this basic top at Nordstrom and bought it in every single color available because it’s just that great! They are sooo cozy, soft, flattering, & affordable! I also picked up a bunch of cute scarfs from the Nordstrom trend section ( here, here, & here) and love that you can mix and match them to any basic outfit. I try and stick to pieces that I can easily throw on and create a chic and simple look. Simply add a top knot, bold lip, and fun sunnies and you are set! 😉 Now that we are home, we are busy unpacking, doing laundry, and excited to have my mama visiting for the week! I love the holiday season and love how much effort our families make to spend as much time as possible with us! We will be spending the evening in with some takeout and lots of girls time catching up and writing our to do lists because tomorrow it will definitely be a fun filled day celebrating my BIRTHDAY!
