My most asked questions usually have to do with my hair.. the color, cut, if I wear extensions, what products I use to keep my blonde bright + healthy, etc. I want to share my current blonde routine and answer some of these questions!
I do not wear extensions! My hair is super thick and has gotten really healthy since I cut it about a year ago. I am actually considering putting extensions back in (I feel like that’s the least drastic way to change up my hair- I always get the urge to change it up when I’m pregnant and definitely don’t want to mess with my color this time)! As far as color, I love to keep my hair bright + cool. I do like a bit of a shadowed root since I am not naturally blonde, because in my opinion, it looks better when it grows out.
I try really hard to take great care of my hair. I am super gentle with it and try to find the best quality products to use. When dpHUE reached out to me to work together, I immediately went to work doing research. I only read amazing reviews and knew I had to try out this brand… and Kristin Cavallari uses their products, so that also kinda sealed the deal (she’s my style/mommy/business woman icon) because her hair is always fabulous! I had actually been on the hunt for a new purple shampoo and was so excited to try this one! Both the dpHUE cool blonde shampoo and conditioner are SOO GOOD. If you’re a blonde, I’m sure you’ve tried out purple shampoos before. This combo is amazing and not drying, which I LOVE because most purple shampoos leave my hair so dry. I love these products because they help cancel the warmth and brassy tones blondes sometimes get (I know I do in between salon visits!) and gently cleanses. It’s not just for blondes, it’s perfect for any hair color! These products are free of parabens, sulfates, & phthalates. They are also gluten & cruelty free! These are products that you can actually feel good about using!
While researching dpHUE, I also came across their Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse. This product is an amazing alternative for using shampoo. Instead of shampooing every time you wash (this can be harsh on hair + strip the hair of natural oils), you can use the ACV Hair Rinse a few times a week! The benefits of using the dpHUE ACV Hair Rinse include: cleanses without stripping natural oils, strengthens hair with continued use, & leaves hair soft and shiny. UHMMM winning! This stuff is amazing and I love to pair it with the Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-In Hair Therapy ,as well. Read more about these amazing products here.
After washing, I gently towel dry my hair, I apply a dime-sized amount of dpHUE Argan Oil Therapy to my damp hair. This helps to keep my hair shiny, moisturized, and keeps away the frizz. I reallllly love this stuff and it has become a necessity for my hair. No doubt, I will definitely keep it stocked in my hair stash!
All of these products are amazing and it means even more to me that they are actually good for your hair! I want my readers to know that I never share products unless I truly love them and use them. I love answering your questions and sharing good info and products when I find them (I gotcha back, ladies! 😉 ) Each of these products I talked about are so, so great. I’d love to know if you ladies have tried them + if you decide to order some, let me know how they work for you… although I truly know you will LOVE them! Here’s to healthier hair and being “cool blondes”! XO
