ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS...

Hi, darlings! It’s been a SUPER busy week here at the #ThompsyCasa with a visit from my mom, working on baby girl’s nursery (can’t wait to share!!), major organizing + cleaning, and catching up on work after our long trip to Utah. We only have 11 more days before we leave for our next trip to spend the Xmas holiday with my family in Las Vegas, so I’ll definitely be busy preparing for that! We have a couple of fun holiday activities planned this weekend and I’m reallllly wishing I could wear this dress for one of them! I found it at Nordstrom and knew I had to have it for the holidays!! I sized up, because hello, 30 weeks pregnant belly, but I know I will be able to wear it after baby, too! It’s seriously such a darling dress and super affordable! I also linked a whole bunch of other party dresses from Nordstrom that I am loving! I am currently deciding which ones to wear to my husband + dad’s holiday company parties and know this one will definitely be worn for one of them.

Aside from party dresses, today I wanted to chat about my most favorite gift to get for Christmas! A couple of years ago, Mr. Thompson gave me my very first pair of high end designer shoes. We were in Hawaii spending the Christmas holiday and went to the Nordstrom there and he surprised me and let me pick out any pair I wanted (until then we had been poor college students and a designer shoe was really just a dream!). Ever since then, I have gotten a pair here and there for Christmas or birthdays! I’m slowly, but surely building my collection and don’t have a ton yet, but the ones I do have so far are my absolute favorite!!! These Valentinos are just gorgeous. It seriously feels like I’m putting jewelry on my feet every time I wear them. They are so comfy (love the kitten heel!) and can be worn with so many different looks. For now, I am focused on collecting classic colors like these black Valentinos, my white Manolo Blahniks, my gold Jimmy Choos (currently on sale!), etc! I tried on these Louboutins last week and am thinking those are next on my wish list. Some girls love jewelry, or purses, or shoes.. I am totally a shoe girl (my husband would say that’s a lie and that I love them all haha!) and think they make for the perfect special occasion gift! What is your favorite designer heel?!
