I Found this Blue Velvet Bag in Nordstrom at less than $35

Happy Monday, friends! Tired of the typical red or green holiday looks? Today I’m sharing a cozy, casual holiday look that’s not so typical! I love a good sweater dress & this one is seriously the cutest. While I was at Nordstrom I couldn’t decide between the grey or olive because they’re both SO cute. The sleeve length is great for Houston winter weather, but if you live somewhere with a colder climate you could totally throw on a sleek leather jacket or pretty fur coat and even a pair of tights to keep you warm! It’s a verrry versatile dress, which is the best. I can easily wear this knit sweater dress with a cute pair of booties and keep it more casual. I recently did a HUGE closet purge, which actually has helped me while I’m shopping to try and only really buy pieces that are staples and can be worn a few different ways.

I think the key piece that totally brings this look together & adds that perfect amount of holiday glam is this bag! As my readers know, I love classic, good quality pieces. When trying out trendy, fun looks, I don’t like to spend a fortune. That’s why when I found this bag at Nordstrom, I was ecstatic! I have been wanting a velvet bag for a while now and could NOT pass up the $35 price tag (#winning!!!). It is a great quality and the color is just stunning.
