All About Truman + Our Favorite Kid’s Items From Nordstrom

TGIF, friends! Woah, this week has flown by. We have been so crazy busy settling in and trying to get back to “normal” and on a schedule. I am very much so a scheduled person (would you guys want a post on my schedule/how I get things done?!). It has been a little hard for me this week trying to get the kids and myself on a routine.

I have to say, my kids have been total champs.

I am soooo impressed with Truman, especially. He gets the whole move and even with all of the change, he has been so awesome. He started a new school, has made new friends at our daily visits to the park, and has even started to get used to his new room at nana and papa’s house! I love this boy, his crazy and hilarious personality, his sweet heart, cutest voice, and basically just everything about him 🙂

I have to brag for a sec because Truman is sooo dang smart. He is a learner and just has the best memory. He knows all of the dinosaurs. Their names and what they eat. He knows all of the ninja turtles, their nicknames, colors, what weapons they use, etc. He knows all of the sharks, what they look like, and what Sid & I’s favorite sharks are, too! He’s obsessed with his map, and states, and learning about all the different states (he knows about 10 of the states!).

We just are in awe of him everyday and cant believe we got SO dang lucky.

When I saw this shirt online at Nordstrom, I knew Truman had to have it (to go along with the 50 other dinosaur shirts he has, haha!) I love the brand Tucker + Tate from Nordstrom for my kids’ clothes! They have the cutest, affordable items and they last. Before moving, we packed up Tru’s old things that didn’t fit anymore to save for future babies, and I have to say that most of the things we saved were either Tucker + Tate or Peek from Nordstrom because the quality is just so good.

Anyways, we are excited for a fun weekend with just our little family. My parents will be visiting Utah, so it’ll be just us… kind of crazy that we’ve never visited without my parents being here so we have no idea what to even do, lol! I’m sure we’ll do some park time, visit some of our favorite restaurants, and just relax… we NEED it after the last month!! What are ya’ll up to this weekend?! Have a great one, babes! XOXO
