One year with Tatum Olivia~ definitely the best year of my life getting to love on my two children. Tatum is the perfect addition to our little family… the perfect amount of sweet and sassy to Truman’s fun and crazy. From day one, her and I have shared the most special, wonderful bond. I still remember the overwhelming feeling of peace and happiness as she lay on my chest for the first time. Her spirit is part of mine and at that moment I felt completely whole. It was pure magic.
Tatum Olivia is calm, happy, and sweet as can be.
She is full of giggles and love for everyone around her. I think she gets that part from me, we both love big and I’m proud of that. This year was the most wonderful, but also the most challenging. Learning how to juggle two little ones was no easy task trying to juggle family and work (and on my own with the help of my sweet husband since we lived so far from family until just the last couple of months) and I am just so thankful for how loving and patient my kids were with me this year as I learned. Being a mom is my greatest honor and biggest blessing. I love my children more than I could ever possibly put into words. I always wondered how I could possibly love another baby like I love my Truman, but it’s true what they say- your heart immediately just grows and you can’t even imagine the amount of LOVE you will have for them.
Everything I do is for them.
I am so incredibly thankful that Heavenly Father blessed us with our sweet Tatum this year. We love her BIG as Truman would say. She has brought so much love and happiness into our home. She was exactly what we needed and it was love at first sight. I remember and cherish the millions of cuddles, hugs, and kisses we’ve shared this year. All of the moments of holding her and singing to her and reading to her and watching her grow into this beautiful “big girl”… I know she feels immensely loved and I pray she always remembers how much we love and adore her & that we will always be there to lift her.
Tatum as of late is wobbling around most places, determined to walk on her own. Loves food + prefers to feed herself. She is the most scheduled baby. Girlfriend loves to nap and is ready for her two naps at the same time every day. She started gymnastics last week and thought it was so fun! She loves to bother Truman while he’s sleeping 🤣 She’s both a mommy + daddy’s girl. Honestly she is just so dang sweet! She’s almost always smiling and happy unless she is hungry or tired. She loves taking care of her baby doll and squeals anytime she sees a stuffed animal at the store.
Oh, and she LOVES dogs.
She has the prettiest long hair (mommy is still trying to figure out how to do girl hair, ha!) She’ll say mama, dada, baba, bye-bye, hi, “tu” aka Tru. She loves Moana (we think it’s because she looks just like baby Moana!) She loves to read books and take baths. Every morning when I walk into her room to get her, she stands up and gives us the biggest cheesy smile- I mean best way ever to wake up!!! She loves to give and blow kisses. Lately has been more clingy + starting to get a bit of stranger danger, haha! She melts my heart on the daily and I love her sweet spirit. She is one special girl and we are so thankful she’s ours! Happy birthday to our sweetest Tatum!
PS I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of my sweet readers who are always so kind and supportive of my little family. It is not always easy sharing my greatest treasures. Every sweet comment, message, etc. is SO appreciated and means so much to us. It is so fun to be able to share small parts of my life with ya’ll. I won’t blog forever, but for now I am just so thankful for this space I have to share a little piece of me! LOVE you all! XOXO
