How To Choose Your Holiday Style

Hey babes! I’m so excited to be partnering with Express today to share a little about my holiday style + dressing for the holidays! I LOVE Express’ campaign #ExpressWhatYouWant – it’s all about expressing what you really want, and who you really are. “From the gifts you love to give & receive, to your goals for 2018, to the wishes you have for the world at large, express yourself with confidence, optimism, and individual style.” Ummm can I get an amen?! I absolutely love this and am so happy to be partnering on this campaign.

It’s no secret I love any reason to dress up and I really love any reason to express who I am + how I truly believe confidence is key (and when you look good, you feel good)! I love all the fun styles that come with the holidays and totally love to put together different looks for all of the holiday festivities. So putting together this look was so much fun! Now, let’s break down holiday style.

What’s your holiday style? Is your holiday style more glamorous? Do you love to dress up? Are you more of a casual gal + prefer something a little more simple? Do you you go all out with the holiday colors, or do you prefer touches of red and green here & there? There are sooo many ways to dress for the holidays, so determine what style you love + feel most comfortable & confident in! Dressing for the occasion is also key… are you attending a casual family get together or a company party? I mean, I would still totally wear sequin pants for a family get together. That’s exactly what I like + feel most excited to wear!

My Holiday Style

I’m not going to lie, I am normally more of a dress girl. They’re just so easy to grab and be done (I was on the hunt for a sequin dress or the perfect black dress), but when I saw these sequin pants, I knew I had to create a look around them! They can be worn both for the Christmas holiday get togethers + New Years celebrations, which I love!

I opted for a pop of red, but originally had paired it with this grey sweater and loved that monochromatic look as well. I am totally obsessed with this sweater and actually bought it in all the colors because of the pretty + feminine cut out on the sleeve. Also, I love that it adds a little bit of (dare I say) sexiness(??) to the look. I chose some pretty silver heels + earrings to really make the outfit glam and whallllaaaa… the perfect glam holiday outfit!
