Now that Truman goes to Mother’s Day Out a couple times a week, I find myself grabbing my heels and wedges a little bit more on those days and I love it! I’ve always loved wearing heels, especially to make a casual outfit a little bit more spicy. You guys… I use to dress up to go to school and wore heels at least a couple times a week, haha! I remember the first time I wore heels to school. I had “borrowed” a pair from my mama’s closet (that was a size & a half too big at the time) and worn them to school without my mom noticing. She later picked me up and was mortified to find out that I had worn those size-too-big of heels all day long to school. (We still die laughing about this experience!!) She realized I was serious about my love for heels and took me to pick out a pair of my own that I loved. That’s where the addiction started! I had sooo many pairs of heels by the time I left for college & I’m pretty sure my new roomies in Utah thought I was insane when they saw me hauling in the baskets of shoes. BUT I will never stop wearing them!
I, like most girls, LOVE designer heels. I have a few pairs that I treasure and put right back into their dust bags + boxes after I wear them. BUT, being a young (hustling) mama, there are many things that take precedence before buying designer heels. That doesn’t mean my style has to suffer. I simply look for deals on shoes (especially if they are a trendy heel that I want to try out!) I teamed up with Payless on this post to share how you can style an outfit and make it look put together, without the expensive price tag. I’ve seen several designer versions of these heels, and they are seriously almost identical! They are great quality and so comfy. I love the block heel trend and definitely didn’t feel bad about the $30 price tag. If you are in the market for a gorgeous black heel, definitely check them out. I love dressing them up or down & wearing them for lunches with the girls, a date night, church, etc. Thanks so much for reading loves! XO
