Can you believe my baby girl is a month old today?! I can’t even believe she has been here for a whole 4 weeks… but really, what was life before her? We shot these photos + video a few weeks ago when she was just one week old. I am so happy we made this video and have these photos to treasure and remember forever! I had so much fun working on Tatum’s nursery. I wanted the space to feel calm, organized, and of course had to take full advantage of allll things girly. The first thing I ordered when I found out I was having a girl was the gorgeous chandelier from Pottery Barn (sadly it’s sold out now 🙁 ) and basically used it as my inspiration. We then ordered the gorgeous crib! Isn’t is perfecttttt for a baby girl? I absolutely love the pretty detailing and think it’s the perfect piece in her room. We kept the bedding simple with a ruffled white bed skirt + fitted sheet. We let the accessories in the room do the talking- I had to have that amazing crown + custom name piece. I love all things gold and of course incorporated that with lots of the accessories. I think the crown and lighted name were the perfect finishing touches! I also have to give a shout out to my mom for helping me with this space! She is seriously the calm to my crazy- I sent her about 20 different “dream boards” I put together for inspo for this room and I am sooo happy with how it turned out.
Since our sweet Tatum is one month old, I wanted to share a few things about her!
-She sleeps like a champ! She only wakes up once a night to eat. We have used the Woombie since she was born and it’s amazing! I posted about it on snapchat awhile ago and received so many questions about it, so you can find that here!
-She is the sweetest & most chill baby. She truly only cries when she’s hungry (but she takes after her mama and is SERIOUS about her eating.. she wants it when she wants it, haha!)
-She LOVES to be held and cuddled all day long. She definitely takes after her brother and is a big time snuggler.
-She went to church for the first time on Sunday!
-Her big brother is obsessed with her.. sometimes a little too obsessed, ha!
-I thought her tan skin would fade (I mean, have you seen Truman?! Blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale lol) We think she definitely is favoring my Latin + Sid’s Armenian roots. We aren’t quite sure what color her eyes are, I think they look darker blue like mine & Sid is certain she has hazel eyes… we shall see!
-She loves to sleep on her daddy’s chest and they enjoy cuddle time every night after Tru goes to sleep.
-We are SO in love with her! Becoming a mom to another sweet baby has definitely been challenging and an adjustment, but I am so thankful for her. I’m thankful for the stresses and struggles that I have every day while trying to balance all that I have on my plate, because my kids are my whole world and I know that raising them is the most important job I will ever have.
